Technical computer scientist / system administrator (m/w)

You like to administer Windows / Linux systems and are not afraid of embedded devices??

Your tasks

You maintain and optimize our technical IT infrastructure independently. In addition, you support our validation projects in the construction of automated test environments.

For example, you take on the following activities:

  • Conception, construction and maintenance of our technical IT infrastructure
  • Maintenance and installation of services
  • Optimization of our IT infrastructure
  • Installation and maintenance of servers / computers
  • Commissioning of technical infrastructure for our validation projects

You collaborate in the conception, adaptation and use of methods of software engineering, software validation and software testing. You work independently in demanding projects - always supported by an experienced and highly qualified team.

You have the following knowledge

  • University degree (Bachelor, Master or Diploma) in Computer Science or a comparable course of study.
  • Very good knowledge in the development of scripts (bash, python, …)
  • Experience in Unix / Linux administration and possibly in Windows client administration
  • Experience in dealing with hardware, networks, evaluation boards / embedded devices
  • Knowledge in development with C / C ++
  • Advantageous to have knowledge of Jenkins, SVN, GIT, Icinga2, Apache, Puppet, Chef, Docker, Vagrant, Bug-Tracking-Systems, Virtualization…

You have the following skills

  • Independent and methodical work

  • Excellent communication and willingness to work in a team
  • Enjoy the development and presentation of concepts
  • Very good written and spoken German and very good English
